Band of the North Earns Highest Ranking in Program History!

Band of the North is in FIRST place following last Saturday’s competition—the highest ranking in the program’s history!

The band (combined marching band program housed at Indian River that includes students in grades 6-12 from IR, Carthage, Copenhagen, and Gouverneur) will travel to Syracuse this weekend to compete in the State Finals Competition at the JMA Wireless Dome, with a scheduled performance time of 8:13 a.m.

Congratulations to the students and staff on this exciting milestone! Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork have made this a season to celebrate. Please join us in wishing Band of the North the best of luck as they take the field at State Finals!
