Copenhagen Central School Elementary students in Copenhagen, New York took on the Soil Your Undies Challenge as part of their Global Outdoor Classroom Day. Grades K-5 buried their undies all around Hopenhagen Farms, owned by Mary Rumble on May 23, 2024. Hopenhagen Farms is known for their lavender plants, hops, and gardens. After nine weeks, the elementary summer school students dug up their undies to find major microbial success! Here are some photos of before and after. The more deterioration the better the soil!
